Who am I?

A lover of well-done things in the true, not rhetorical sense. A student of every management framework in the world, aiming to provide quick, concrete, and real solutions to any situation that comes my way. Analytical to the core, with a tendency to find answers in organizational behavior, not just in the documentation I come across. A father, brother, son, and a friend to my friends. A person like you, who enjoys the gifts life has given me, since not everything is joyful, unless you choose it to be. I have a rather pleasant profession, which allows me to interact with many people throughout my day. Over the years, it has enabled me to develop a range of skills and senses that I apply to what I do professionally. I am known and recognized as an organizational process consultant, teacher, speaker, entrepreneur, change agent, and many other things; though among all these, what I enjoy the most is always being able to find a solution to my clients’ and students’ issues. This is one of the reasons why I am considered an “innovative character,” as I have a tendency to seek creative and effective solutions to problems where others only find excuses.

As part of my daily routine, I have the opportunity to actively engage in various professional activities that not only allow me to enrich my professional profile based on the experience they generate, but I am also fortunate to be part of distinguished world-class institutions, recognized as an expert for my track record and areas of expertise.

I have over 20 years of professional experience, with the last 18 years dedicated to the field of consulting in IT Governance, Service Management, Business Process Management, Project and Program Management, and Continuous Organizational Improvement. My experience spans different sectors of the economy, such as transportation, finance, logistics, telecommunications, mining, BPO services, among others, in both public and private organizations in Spain and Latin America. In the last 10 years alone, I have participated as an expert in over 50 projects related to my expertise, for some of the leading companies in Latin America. Additionally, I have personally trained over 7,500 professionals, including more than 300 ITIL Experts, over 60 ITIL4 Managing Professionals, and more than 4,000 professionals in ITIL Foundation (version 3, 2011 edition, and version 4).

Additionally, thanks to my recognized track record and expertise, I collaborate with AXELOS as a Subject Matter Expert and with the Global Trust Association as a Strategic Advisor. Among many others, I hold certifications such as ITIL Expert, ITIL4 Managing Professional, ISO20000 Consultant Manager, COBIT Assessor, and LEAN IT Kaizen.

In the realm of entrepreneurship, I am the founder of PMC, a renowned Latin American consultancy with two business lines: 1. IT Governance and Management Consulting, and 2. Official Training and Certification. Through these services, the consultancy has provided more than 100,000 hours of specialized consulting to some of the leading companies in the Spanish-speaking market, and trained over 15,000 professionals.

I am a professional always focused on creating a different service logic that guarantees organizational objectives. I have a consistent performance, congruent and with solid principles, with levels of self-demand and commitment that are truly tangible, which I instill as a culture in the organizations I lead.

For all these reasons, over the years, I have had the honor of becoming a true benchmark in “Enterprise & IT Service Management”, widely recognized in the Spanish-speaking world; regularly participating as an invited speaker at knowledge transfer and dissemination events

Service management: luck or strategy?

This is one of my initiatives aimed at increasing collective knowledge about the true power of service management, regardless of the sector or type of organization. Often, the incorrect approach of those seeking to work with these best practices is the sole reason for failure in such projects. This initiative seeks to raise awareness by providing the correct approach to all professionals willing to improve their organizations.

Discussing how much Peruvian companies are willing to invest in consulting, the importance of international certifications, and service management.

PMC has achieved a historic milestone for the Latin American region by obtaining four ISOs: ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, and now ISO 9001. The latter focuses solely on quality management across all business processes, supporting the company's major R&D project.
