Do you know what happens when an idea stops being theory and becomes a shared cause? That is A.R.T.E.
Some projects are conceived and begin with the head, and others are born from the heart. A.R.T.E. belongs to the latter. I didn’t design it to add yet another methodology, nor to compete with familiar frameworks (there was no need). I imagined it like preparing a recipe for the whole family: with patience, with ingredients steeped in history, and with the hope that when tasted, everyone would say: “This is wonderful! Why didn’t you make it before?”
A.R.T.E. is the result of years of listening, accompanying, learning from real teams, and sensing that something truly different was needed: a framework that connects strategy, people and services within a living, human and sustainable logic. And today I want to share it with you as if we were at the table after lunch, with trust, with excitement, and with the certainty that what is coming can mark a before and after in almost every sphere of our lives.
Why A.R.T.E. was born?
A.R.T.E. was born because, like many, I grew tired of seeing so many change initiatives that remained as beautiful presentations, speeches that never reached practice, projects that failed to connect with the reality of people or clients. It was like those houses painted on the outside that look splendid, but still have leaks and stained walls inside: they look fine, but don’t solve the essentials.
I wanted to create something like putting the house in order (and I am not exactly a naturally “tidy” person): opening drawers, cleaning corners, talking with those who live there, and deciding together how we want our home to be (and you know well that home is not the same as house, right?). A.R.T.E. is that: a way of transforming that doesn’t stay on the surface, that goes deep, that connects strategy with operations, technology with culture, and above all, people with purpose.
As many know, my father left too soon, when I was only six, but in that short time he left an indelible mark. My mother, who passed away this year, remains and will remain present in every thought and decision I make. From them I learned something I will never forget: that order, discipline and love for what you do are the foundation of any transformation that wishes to endure, and that the only way to fix what is wrong is to recognise it and set to work with both heart and head.
Today, my children —three girls and a boy— remind me every day that this journey is not only professional. It is a profound commitment to leave them a better, more human and fairer world (and of course it is not something that concerns only me, right?). They are my compass, the reason why every step I take seeks to build future and hope.
That is why I say that A.R.T.E. carries a piece of them in every step: the memory of those who gave me life and taught me, through their many successes and mistakes, to look with purpose, and the inspiration of those who push me to keep creating, learning and sharing. A.R.T.E. is not just a methodology: it is a legacy that unites past, present and future.
Who it is for?
A.R.T.E. is designed for everyone.
- For this generation (our children’s), who seek meaning in what they do and refuse to work “just because”.
- For the previous one (yours and mine), who hold the wisdom of having seen countless changes and still have much to teach.
- For the next one (our grandchildren, if we are lucky to see them), who deserve to grow with tools that teach that transforming is not just changing things but evolving with humanity.
It is like a conversation at the Christmas table: each one contributes from their place, their age, their experience (even the typical brother-in-law, haha). The grandfather with his memories, the parents with their lessons, the children with their questions. A.R.T.E. wants to be that table where everyone has a voice, and everyone feels part of something bigger than themselves.
But there is something fundamental: everyone must get involved and believe it is possible, because it doesn’t work if you only watch from outside. It is like a recipe: you can read it, but if you don’t roll up your sleeves and cook, you’ll never know how it tastes. A.R.T.E. needs each organisation (and the people within it) to commit, to participate, and to trust the process. Only then does transformation stop being an obligation and become a shared cause.
What it can provoke?
- In organisations: real efficiency, constant innovation, healthier and more committed cultures. Like when a family decides to organise itself better and suddenly everything flows tasks are shared, time is respected, and there is even space to enjoy together.
- In people: joy in contributing, pride in belonging, clarity in their role. Like when a child realises that helping at home is not punishment, but a way of caring for everyone.
- In society: a common language of transformation, where we all understand that change begins in us and multiplies in others. Like when a neighbourhood unites to restore its park or square: every gesture counts, and the result belongs to all.
A.R.T.E. does not impose rigid frameworks: it adapts, listens, builds around the reality of each organisation. And that makes it something living, human and sustainable. It is like planting a tree in the garden: it is not about growing fast, but about putting down deep roots and giving shade for generations.
A story with twists and turns…
After the enormous interest sparked by #TheESMGuide (almost 30,000 downloads. Amazing), I thought the path was clear. But it wasn’t so simple. There were doubts, even the temptation to give it another name (and not A.R.T.E.) and a more technical focus. It was like redecorating the house and wondering whether to change the whole style or keep what already has soul.
In the end I understood that what we really needed to complement the journey was not another guide, but a methodology with heart. That is why, after a couple of years of reflection (or perhaps more), of trials, of conversations, discussions, endless debates and learning, today I can say that A.R.T.E. will be released with all the strength of its transformational and humanist approach.
And believe me, it feels like opening a window after a long time and letting fresh air in. Like deciding that surviving day to day is no longer enough, but that you want to live with purpose, clarity and joy.
When and how to access?
A.R.T.E. will be launched very soon and will be freely available. Because I believe that knowledge, when authentic and useful, must be shared (otherwise, what’s the point?). The idea is to support everyone, without barriers, without excuses, without limits. That any person, anywhere, can access it and begin to transform their environment. Imagine thousands of organisations around the world applying A.R.T.E. to transform with purpose. That is the dream that today begins to become reality.
I want no one left out for lack of resources, because true wealth lies in sharing what we know and what we can contribute. There are already many legitimate and valuable ways to earn money, but this project was born with another spirit: that of giving back to the world part of the much it has given me. That is what I did with #TheESMGuide, sharing it freely and seeing how thousands of people downloaded it, studied it and applied it. That experience confirmed that when knowledge is liberated, it multiplies.
A personal invitation:
I don’t want you to read this as an official announcement. I want you to read it as if I were telling you at the table after lunch, with a coffee or a beer in front of us, with the joy of someone who has been keeping a secret for a long time and can finally share it.
So, I invite you to wait just a few more days. Very soon, A.R.T.E. will be here. And when it is, I hope you receive it with the same emotion with which I share it with you. Because A.R.T.E. is not only mine: it belongs to all those who believe that things can be done differently, with more purpose, more humanity and more heart. And when that moment comes, I want you to live it like opening an unexpected gift: with surprise, with joy, and with the certainty that what is inside can accompany you for a long time.
Get ready, because A.R.T.E. will not only change organisations; it will change the way we understand transformation.
A very special thank you:
I want to close this post with a sincere thank you to AXIANS. Not only for the support and trust they have placed in me and in this methodology, but for the greatness of a brand that, with its global impact and powerful presence in so many countries, shows every day that transformation with purpose is possible.
AXIANS has taken a bold and visionary step by incorporating A.R.T.E. as “the soul” of its new line of consulting services, recently launched to the market. And it is no small gesture: it means recognising that behind every process, every strategy and every service, there are people who deserve to evolve with meaning and humanity.
I hope that consultancies all over the world follow this example. That universities, business schools and even schools dare to teach and apply methodologies that not only organise processes, but also inspire people. Because if A.R.T.E. reminds us of anything, it is that transformation is not just about changing things: it is about leaving a mark, building the future and doing it together.
And the most beautiful part: A.R.T.E. will be available to everyone, free of charge. No barriers, no excuses: any organisation, any team, any person can adopt it and make it their own.
Thank you very much for reaching this point.
Very soon: A.R.T.E.
